Photo Diary: Apple Picking

This past weekend I managed to get out of the city and ended up in a quaint little town called Goshen, NY.  My coworker Morgan was kind enough to invite me and another coworker, Elfe, up to her parent's place to go apple picking and get some fresh air.

Fall is undoubtedly my favorite season but I don't think I've experienced a true Fall until this weekend. Last year was the first time that I really got to see the leaves change colors, but this past weekend I got to relax in the Hudson Valley surrounded by crisp air and the most beautiful trees I've ever seen. I seriously wish I took more photos while we were driving because it was absolutely gorgeous. This weekend we picked apples, drank a ton of cider, and I got a chance to clear my head (and my nose, I always get sick this time of year) and feel relaxed for the first time in a very long time.

I'm not gonna lie, I started dreaming about living in a cozy little place upstate. What can I say, this Texas girl loves some open space.
