If you can’t find shade– make your own.
I've really leaned into the whole safari look haven't I?
Because nothing says summer like a fresh white shirt and denim shorts. (iced coffee recommended, but not required.)
Summertime, and the outfits are simple.
The heat is coming whether we like it or not so we might as well get ready..
There's nothing like putting together an outfit and taking photos that make you look and feel like a total badass. I wore this to a birthday brunch on a weekend where spring decided to give us a little taste. It might sound weird to say, but this whole outfit was based around these tights because I finally found the perfect pair of sheer tights that just have a way of making my legs look amazing. These are perfect for when it starts to get a bit warmer out, but I can't be bothered to shave.
I just want to start off by saying how much I miss sharing outfit posts regularly on here. The past few weeks I've put together various outfits that I wish I had the time to photograph! I wore this a week or two ago to brunch with my friend Maddie and she's the best because she's always willing to help with blog photos and she knows my best angles. I'm crossing my fingers that I have the chance to shoot more once it gets warm again.
I've said this a million times before on here but i'll say it again, I'm not one for crazy prints or colors, so instead I like to focus on simple details to make an outfit feel fresh and fun. This off the shoulder bodysuit is right up my alley for being simple, but not totally boring. Bodysuits are quickly becoming my jam because they're so easy to wear tucked into things and fit so well.
Oh hey outfit that was shot over a month ago. Nice to see ya here. It's getting too chilly to wear you as is, but you can totally work with a coat tossed on top so we're gonna roll with it.
I've always relished in the sweet spot in-between, the place I like to dub shorts and sweater weather. It's short lived, it comes and goes in an instant, but when it's here I make sure to take full advantage of it.
I'm definitely not at the point where I can call myself a new yorker, but anytime I wear all black I feel like I'm getting a little bit closer.
Even though I become a bit more comfortable and confident with myself everyday, I can't suppress the feeling of wanting to be cool person, or at least look like a cool person.
Despite being a Texas gal, I'm still learning how to look cute in the summertime.
After a brutal and seemingly never-ending winter I'm beyond grateful to see the sun and feel warm once again.
Last winter 10x10 outfit!!! I'm not sure if I will try to do another capsule challenge, but I think the reason why this one didn't work out too well is because of the weather I was dealing with and the fact that my choices were almost too neutral? Anyways, I'll talk more about that in my round up post but first I have something to say. Labeling this as outfit 10 is a total alternative fact because I actually didn't end up wearing this on the last day.
Believe me when I say that I am really glad that this challenge is almost over. I haven't been dying to wear something else in my wardrobe, but I am getting tired of feeling limited with my options.
I have a confession to make; I did not wear this outfit on day seven. Scandalous I know, but I didn't think that y'all wanted to see an outfit post of my pj's
This is what I ended up wearing on my seven hour flight from New York to London. I swapped out the bean boots again for my adidas sneakers so I could easily slip them off during security and on the plane.
