LISTENING / Ben Howard's full album came out and it's definitely made for a certain mood. A bit more abstract than his other albums, but I'm still excited to see him in October. "Nica Libre at Dusk" and "Towing the Line" are my favorites. Florence + the Machine's new album is golden and much better than her last in my opinion. There's really no song that I don't love and it has a great energy for the summer. Also my fave, James Vincent McMorrow released a single in honor of his newborn daughter which is an absolute vibe and I have listened to it at least 30 times in the span of a few days.

WORKING / I'm halfway through my internship at J. Walter Thompson which is wild. Getting into the 9-to-5 groove was a bit tough at the beginning, but this is a great taste at post-grad life and I can't believe that I'll (probably) be doing the 9-to-5 thing in less than a year from now. I'm paying my own rent this summer, and just paid for a monthly metro pass for the first time since I've lived in new york. How wild is that? I'm debating on either doing a day in the life or a week in the life of an NYC intern so let me know if you have a preference!

MAKING / I came across this super easy dessert recipe that's impossible to mess up. It's essentially a key lime custard which is perfect for the summer. I'm also making plenty of quinoa bowls to take for lunch in an effort to save money. Our apartment is an actual sauna, so I'm looking into cooking more things that don't require an oven and with minimal stove time.

READING /  I'm trying to get serious about reading again and have kicked off this effort by rereading And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. It's been long enough since I last read it and I forgot just how wild the story is. Definitely a good read if you're into mystery/thrillers. I'm now reading Salt by Mike Kurlansky because I'm a food enthusiast and I'm loving every page so far.

WATCHING / I tried watching the new season of Arrested Development but just couldn't get into it. I think I made it four episodes in before calling it quits— total bummer. Same goes for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, just wasn't holding my interest. I finished the newest season of Queer Eye which wasn't as great as the first but entertaining nonetheless. If you're a rom-com fanatic like me, Set It Up on Netflix is the right amount of predictable, cringe-y and will still make your heart melt. I also need to get caught up on Explained, the Netflix series in partnership with Vox that I've really enjoyed.

FEELING / So many things! So much has been going on and I really hope that I'm able to talk about it more very soon. Had one week where I felt like I had no idea what I was doing or what I wanted and within the span of a few days I was presented with some opportunities that could change a lot. If you check my insta stories you might have caught my little rant about where to put content (mini recap here) and my verdict is that I'm going to work on making blog content more instagram accessible and posting more stuff over there. We'll see how it goes but at the end of the day, I just want to make cool things and talk with cool people, m'kay?
